Step #1:
Remember that the printer must be installed and connected via the USB cable to the computer. Now what we do is identify our panel of two specific printer buttons to start the factory reset the HP F4580 printer.

Remember that the printer must be installed and connected via the USB cable to the computer. Now what we do is identify our panel of two specific printer buttons to start the factory reset the HP F4580 printer.
1. The Cancel button.

2. The Page Size button. It will look exactly like this:

Step #2:
Now that your printer’s disconnected, press and hold both the Cancel and Page Size buttons for about 10 seconds. Plug the power cable back in the printer while these buttons are pressed down.
Your printer should now be restored back to its original factory settings and usable.
